September in Primary 3/4

3rd Oct 2025
It has been a busy start to the new school year in Primary 3/4 with lots of new learning taking place.

We have been busy in literacy writing about ourselves and recalling our summer memories.  We also revised our use of capitals and have done lots of fantastic activities on nouns.

Our numeracy activities have been exploring the days of the week, months of the year and numbers within 100.  We also enjoyed some challenging problem solving activities.

In religion we have created our 'Circle of Friends' and discussed how we can be a good follower of Jesus.

There have been lots of wonderful art activities from sunflowers for the 'Baton of Hope', to scarecrows and autumn leaves.

This term we are using 'Micro:bits' and BeeBot in ICT.  We created a 'Flashing Heart' on the Micro Bits app and got to design our own image on the LEDs.

The highlight of the month for us all has being back with our friends again, getting to play with them outside and at 'Golden Time'.
