It was a sad week for our school as our esteemed school Governor, Peter John Murray passed away after a short illness. Peter John was a Governor for over 40 years and he worked tirelessly for our school in the background serving all 4 Principals of St Patrick's PS. He was involved in many community organisations including the Credit Union. He was a familiar face at the annual Credit Union Quiz, one of the many events which he was central to. The huge crowd that was present at his funeral mass demonstrated the high regard in which the community held Peter John. We pass on our sympathy to his loving wife, Maurita, and to his sons and daughters and entire family circle. May he rest in peace.
