Primary 7 end-of-year trip to Lurgaboy Adventure Centre
Our Primary 7 end-of-year trip to Lurgaboy Adventure Centre in Armagh was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to celebrate our final year at primary school. From the moment we arrived, we were full of excitement and ready for a day packed with adventure, laughter and fun.
Throughout the day, we took part in a range of outdoor activities that challenged us, built our confidence and helped us work together as a team. One of the highlights was archery, where we tested our aim and tried our best to hit the target—some people even managed to score a bullseye! We also enjoyed bushcraft, where we learned new outdoor skills and embraced the experience of being out in nature.
The Leap of Faith was another activity that stood out. Climbing high and taking the jump required real bravery, and everyone who took part felt incredibly proud afterwards. It was amazing to see everyone encouraging each other and stepping out of their comfort zones.
However, for many of us, the best part of the day was definitely paddle boarding. It quickly turned into the most chaotic and funniest activity, as we seemed to spend more time in the water than on the boards! We were jumping in what felt like 100 times, splashing around and having so much fun. To make it even better, we even managed to tip our teachers off their paddle boards —everyone had the best time, which made it even more enjoyable for all.
The whole day was filled with smiles, laughter and unforgettable moments. It was the perfect way to celebrate our time together before moving on to the next chapter.
