On Sunday 24th November our Primary 4 pupils attended mass with their parents to enrol for the sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion.
Fr Tremer welcomed everyone to the very special mass and acknowledged how special it was to celebrate this event as part of the parish for the first time. After communion the children and their parents were invited to come forward to receive a candle & renew their baptismal promises. Once the parents had taken their seats Fr Tremer presented the children with their enrolment certificates.
It was wonderful to have this ceremony as part of the weekly mass & the children did a fantastic job. They now continue to prepare with their teachers, their families & the parish to receive the sacraments of Penance and Eucharist later in the year.
