Primary 2 March News 2026

30th Mar 2026

Primary 2 children would like to say a very big thank you to Amy Leigh's Mum Mrs Conlon who came into visit us and tell us all about her job as a Vet Receptionist.  She showed us Xrays of different animals and let us use bandages and give us all a treat bag too.

It was a pretty busy month as we made a treat box and card for Mother's day, a shamrock man and card for St Patrick's Day and Easter card, baskets and buns for Easter.  We also had a dress up day for World Book Day and Green Day concert.  We sang a song Lamh Lamh Eile and acted out a poem Eadai which means clothes for our green day concert.

But the highlight of the month was to visit the Planetarium in Armagh as part of our Space Topic.  We got to sit in the big seats in the observatory and watch The perfect little planet and all the stars making constellations in the sky.   We also got to make rockets and blast them all up in the air.  We all had a great time.  Happy Easter everyone.
