Primary 2 March News

5th Apr 2022

We have been very lucky in March and had a great day dressing up on Green Day to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.  We also had great weather and we took advantage of this and have been very busy with P1 playing outside!

We have been playing with the sand and water outside as well as riding the bikes, reading, painting our Mother’s Day boxes and cards. We have also been building high towers with our blocks,  enjoying our stepping stones, see saw, learning to skip and playing musical instruments in the sunshine !!  We also visited the play park and the Church with P2 too!

We had another visitor from Mrs Laura Murphy, as part of our pets and vets topic, who took in Malachi Murphy (p2) and Eoghan Shields (p3) pet lambs.  They are called Cookies and Cream and are Valais Black Nose sheep.  Malachi and Eoghan told us all about how to care for pet lambs and even let us feed and hold them.

And lastly we visited the school pond and have found some frogspawn, so we look forward to telling you more next month about our class tadpoles hopefully 😊
