Boundaries

During the month of May we had a very kind lady called Amanda come in and talk to us about moving to our new schools. Her company was called REIM and we were learning about boundaries. She taught us how to speak kindly to parents, friends and teachers. One of the rules while talking was to be respectful and to look at the person while they are talking.  She made us write four or more of our hobbies, I thought this was nice because you got to learn a lot about others. The last thing she had us do was learn about online safety. I really enjoyed this activity.

50th Celebrations

This month St. Patricks PS celebrated their 50th anniversary. The school hall was open to the public to come and view lots of different photographs. We celebrated with a special mess which was held in St. Patrick’s church. We will also be having a fun day in school to celebrate.

Balmoral Show

In May we went to the Balmoral show in Belfast. At the show we saw lots of animals including cows, pigs, chickens and horses.  There were lots of stalls for food and toys. At the food stalls we got a crepe, it was really nice. There was a famous singer called Marty Moan and we got a photo with him. There was a band that chased us in a circle, it was very funny. At the end of the day, we all went to the fun fair. We went on lots of rides like the rotator, trampoline, a roller coaster and a Ferris wheel.
