P6 had a great Viking experience. They got to use different Viking weapons, such as axes, bow and arrows, spears and swords. They visited a Viking home. It had wooden benches with sheepskin blankets to sit on. They made bookmarks with their names written in Viking runes. They copied a poem using a quill and ink. Some pupils dressed up as Vikings or monks. A great day had by all!
