P6 November 2022

29th Nov 2022

The pupils in Primary 6 have been busy in November.  In Religion we remembered those who were special to us that have died.  We remembered them in our daily prayers.

In Literacy we created autumn poems.  We tried to include rhyme, rhythm, alliteration and other poetic techniques. We enjoyed typing them on the computer and adding an autumn border.

During Anti-Bullying week the theme was ‘Reach Out’.  We designed posters to highlight the theme. Well done to Eileen and Sophia whose posters were chosen as the winners.  We added our Bullying poems, which we typed and added images and borders, to create a class display.

We really enjoyed a workshop from REIM Training.  They provided us with VR headsets and we were able to ‘visit’ some of the Famous Landmarks in the World.  We visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and the the Colosseum in Rome.  It was a wonderful experience and a much cheaper way than flying to each country!

Well done to all in P6 especially our Pupils of the week in November.
