P5 Pupils of the Week - 5th June

4th Jun 2020

There was more lovely weather at the start of the week, so it was great to see everyone outside being active. It’s a lovely time of the year to explore outside and enjoy the beautiful world that we live in.

This week Tara was busy doing art activities and walking her dog. Amy Rose and her little brother are continuing with their historical adventures and visited Creggan Church Grave yard, where they found the grave of Art McCooey.  Maia was keeping active and healthy by making strawberry milkshakes from our Instructions lesson in Literacy. Caoimhe is tending to plants in her garden and is working very hard at mathletics. Kayleigh and Leah are also working very hard on their maths activities and couldn’t decide the best way to spend their money!!

Niamh C has reached all her targets this year and has now become a Word Millionaire. Congratulations to Niamh and her mum, as Niamh’s mum has made sure that Niamh had access to reading materials and encouraged Niamh to do her best to read and quiz every week while at home.

I am so proud of all the boys and girls in my class and I hope you are enjoying your time at home and looking after one another. Keep up the good work and we have only a few weeks left until the summer holidays. Remember to keep sending me your photos.
