During the month of November, our class made a list of family and friends that are with God in Heaven. As November is Feast of All Souls. While saying our prayers we remembered all those that have passed. We decorated special memorial cards and displayed them on our classroom window.
In Literacy and Art, we worked on activities related to Anti Bullying. We investigation rhyme and rhythm and created rhyming poems. Then we designed posters for the Anti Bullying Poster Competition.
In Numeracy, we focused on mental maths strategies to help us add and take away correctly. We also consolidated the 2, 5, 10 times tables.
In World Around Us we are learning about Farming. We had a farm safety talk with the Rural Health Partnership, who spoke to us about the various dangers associated with farming. We also completed a virtual 3D workshop with REAM about Underwater Animals. We really enjoyed this experience where we used headsets to see and hear things under the sea.
