P4 November News

Literacy

We have been working extremely hard during our literacy lessons.  We have been learning about present tense verbs and the different rules we have to use to change a verb into the present tense.  We have also been learning about how to use commas when writing a list. We learned lots about collective nouns. We learned that a group of hedgehogs is called a prickle of hedgehogs.

Numeracy
In our Numeracy lessons we have been learning about how to read o'clock and half past digital times.  We have been working hard to solve lots of subtraction calculations and we have successfully learned how to count to 1000. Our favourite thing that we have learned in November is our two times tables. We play lots of games to help us remember the two times tables facts.

World Around Us
We have been learning all about the Weather. We know that weather is what the sky and the air look like outside. We have started to keep a weather diary about the different types of weather we see each day.

Anti- Bullying Week
During anti-bullying week we learned about the different types of bullying and what we should do if we see bullying happening. We designed posters for our school.
