As part of our World Around Us topic ‘Now and Then’ we learn about toys from the olden days. So in January we visited Newry and Mourne Museum in Bagenal’s Castle, Newry to take part in a ‘Toys from the Past’ workshop.
In February we were busy having lots of fun in Art lessons. We made and painted our own ‘Stickman’, after learning about Julia Donaldson’s story ‘Stickman’. We decorated heart shaped wreaths to celebrate Valentine’s Day. In Religion we decorated sheep as we were learning ‘The Parable of the Lost Sheep’.
