Once again October was a busy month in Primary 3/4 and we can't believe we are half way through term 1, already.
We have been exploring story settings and wrote descriptions of our houses. We also learned about verbs and alphabetical order.
Numeracy was really fun this month because we had 'Maths Week'. We played lots of mental maths games and really loved 'Snakes and Ladder' and the 'Kahoot' quiz with Mr Digney's Primary 7's. We also loved the 'Numeracy Scavenger Hunt' and 'Bingo' with the Primary 3s.
This month we have been giving our brains a real workout learning two digit addition with 'carrying' and exploring the properties of 2D shapes. We also loved the next challenge on our micro-bits - 'Smiley Face'.
We created our 'Helpful Hands' display for our classroom door to remind us to always be kind to others.
