What a busy month! In literacy we looked at fables and myths from around the world, before using the app ‘Book Creator’ on the iPads to create our own myths. In numeracy we put a big focus on problem solving tasks; using and applying our mathematical knowledge to solve complex challenges and participated in the Mathletics ‘World Maths Day’ challenge. We also enjoyed celebrating World Book Day with a workshop and visit from local author Paula Reel, visited the school book fair and enjoyed taking part in the school’s St Patrick’s Day assembly by reading facts about St Patrick’s Day, singing a song and reciting a poem in Irish. We capped the month off with the sacrament of First Penance which was a beautiful occasion for all involved. Well done, P4.
