March & April in Primary 4

We have had a busy couple of months in Primary 4, with lots going on both inside and outside the classroom.

We enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day.

In numeracy we have been exploring fractions and extending our knowledge of our times tables.

In literacy we have been learning about different types of words including antonyms, suffixes and prefixes.

We had our First Confession in March and as a reward for all our efforts  we got to attend the 3rd birthday of NearBy.   We were all delighted with our balloons and goodie bags.  Thank you SO much to Aisling for inviting us.

In April, Marlene's Daddy brought in some chicks for us to see.

We completed our bird topic and did a 'Bird Watch'.  It was amazing to discover all the different types of birds that are in our school grounds.  We researched different types of birds and created our own birds in Art.

Lots of our boys and girls were part of the school choir that were successful at Warrenpoint and Newry Feis.

We are now preparing for our First Holy Communion & looking forward to a busy last term at school.
