This month was full of exciting learning for the P1 children. We watched our caterpillars change into butterflies and we released them in our school garden. We tasted and drew a pineapple fruit which was one of the fruits in our storybook..’Handa’s Surprise’. We wrote and sequenced our own stories in Literacy. We learned how to subtract from a bigger amount and used our bricks to help us. The children painted Symmetry Butterflies and learned about fish. We looked after two real goldfish and fed them everyday. The teddy bears went on a picnic at the park and the weather was superb for our own ‘Fun Activity Days’.
