This month we learned about the icy worlds in the Artic and Antarctic as well as finding out how water freezes in our own ice lolly mounds. We had fun writing our names in the frost outside and feeling the coldness of ice cubes in our hands. We counted to ten with numberbeads and Numecon tiles. The pupil school committee asked us about the toys we got from Santa and we had a visit from Una Walsh who told about the traditions of St. Brigid.
