December in Primary 7 – A Month Full of Fun and Festive Cheer!

18th Dec 2025

What an exciting month December has been for Primary 7! We’ve been busy with lots of activities that brought learning, creativity, and plenty of festive fun.

One of the biggest highlights was our Christmas play, Straw and Order. Who knew we had so many talented actors and singers in our class? We worked really hard to learn our lines and songs. The day of the performance, we gave it our all, and it was amazing to see everyone shine on stage. The laughter and applause from the audience made all our hard work worthwhile.

In the middle of all the rehearsals, we enjoyed our Christmas dinner together. It’s always a special day in school, and of course, we kept up the tradition of making our own Christmas hats to wear at the table. There were lots of creative designs – some even had glitter and tinsel!

We also had the chance to take part in an UberHeroes workshop. This was all about mental wellbeing and learning how to look after ourselves and others. We discovered different superheroes who represent different feelings and talked about strategies to help us when we’re feeling worried or stressed. It was a great reminder that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our bodies.

To add even more festive fun, we got creative with clay decorations. We designed and made our very own melted snowman tea light holders. It took us a few go’s to get the hang of working with the clay but in the end they looked fantastic, and we had so much fun making them!

In ICT, we explored coding and got to create and program our own versions of the classic Operation game! This was a brilliant mix of creativity and problem-solving. We designed the game layout, coded the interactions, and tested our projects to make sure everything worked. It was amazing to see our ideas come to life on screen and to learn how coding can be used to build fun, interactive experiences.

December has been a month full of learning, laughter, and creativity. We can’t wait to see what exciting things the new year will bring for Primary 7!
