December was a busy and exciting month in P7!
Our main event was the Christmas play – Straw and Order. It was a beautiful way to share the Christmas message with a touch of humor, and every child was absolutely brilliant. The performances were full of energy and joy, and it was wonderful to see families enjoying the show.
Despite all the festive fun, we also found time for some super learning:
- In numeracy, we carried out practical investigations, including measuring distances using sets of five paperclips.
- In ICT, we coded our own games and built circuits using Micro:bits.
- We even created our own versions of the classic ‘Operation’ game – a fantastic mix of creativity and problem-solving!
To celebrate the season, we enjoyed some festive art activities:
- Making melted snowman tealight holders
- Decorating our Christmas hats for our special Christmas dinner – our last one in St Patrick’s!
It was a month full of learning, laughter, and festive cheer. Well done to all our pupils for their hard work and creativity!
