We were delighted to recently welcome Maeve Murray, one of our wonderful School Governors, who delivered brand‑new netball equipment to the school on behalf of Newry Netball Club.
Newry Netball Club was successful in securing small funding to purchase equipment and to support a Slieve Gullion community netball blitz as part of their Slieve Gullion Netball Project for Primary Schools.
We’re especially proud that our St Patrick’s PS pupils played a key part in making this happen. Children from different classes voted for the project during the Community Leading Change event, becoming active ambassadors for bringing this fantastic opportunity—and equipment—to our school through the Slieve Gullion DEA and the Health Improvement team.
