Primary 6 had another busy month. On October 11th we visited Navan Fort in Armagh. We encountered real life Vikings in the person of Living History interpreters, visited a Viking trading post, looked at Viking weaponry and their way of life. We enjoyed acting out a Viking shield wall. We used quills and ink and practised writing as scribes. We made a bookmark using Runic writing. We really enjoyed our Viking trip.
We’re glad to be continuing our After School activities in LEGO. We have used our creativity to make some fabulous pieces.
October is the month of the Rosary and we made an effort to pray a decade as much as possible. We remembered to pray for ourselves, family, friends, teachers, leaders and those who are sick.
Well done to all in P6 especially our Pupils of the Week in October.
