In Primary 2 we have very busy learning about Autumn and looking for Autumn signs around our school.
We have also been using our whiteboards as always to practice our handwriting.
We joined together with P1 and planned together our Halloween scary castle and all our Halloween art!! We really enjoyed dressing up and making spells in our kitchen. We also had great fun making a volcano pumpkin!
The highlight of this term was learning all about apples and getting to go on a school trip to the Palace Stables in Armagh. We took part in lots of apple activities including how to make apple juice using an apple press, learning how long ago they used apples to make apple potato cakes and the journey of an apple from the orchard to the shops.
We had such a good time and were so well behaved Mrs Mckeown let us go to the play park beside the Palace Stables too!!😀
